In order to successfully install and run the Ultimate Locator system on your own web server, your server should meet these minimum server requirements.

Ultimate Locator is a series of PHP files and templates that you will copy to your web server.  You will run an easy install script that will connect to your mysql database and will automatically build all the system tables for you.

Your Server must support:

• Operating System: Linux,  Unix, FreeBSD or Windows
• Web Server: Apache, IIS  or similar
• Scripting Language: PHP 4.3 (or above)
• Database: MySQL 3.23 (or above)
  MySQL v4.1.2 or above needed for advanced searching features *
• Ability to run ionCube or SourceGuardian files (more on this...)
• FSock

php.ini File Settings:

• safe_mode - must be turned Off.
• extension_dir - should point to a valid folder and program must be able to read/write to this folder.

	We recommend hosting from Media Temple.  Their hosting is compatible with Ultimate Locator v3+ and is only $20.00 per month yet they allow you to host up to 100 domains and support just about everything you would want to do with your site.

You will have access to an ionCube version and a Source Guardian version once inside your member's account.  You can choose to install either one on your server, depending on your server's needs.

Customer is responsible for meeting or exceeding the minimum server requirements.  If you are not sure if your server is compatible, please email the requirements to your hosting company or server admin and ask them if your server can meet those requirements.

* Advanced Searching Features: Includes Category and Product searching.  In order to utilize these advanced searches on your website, your MySQL Database must be version 4.1.2 or higher.
