|
Check all the needed system files on your server:
During Step 5 of the installation, the files needed by the system will be checked and verified that they do exist on your server..
If you have uploaded all php, htm and txt files correctly to your server, installation will report back to you that all system files were found successfully.
Test Files:
This test will scan your root installation directories and try to locate each system file that is needed for running this program.
It is important to know that this step searches your server and tries to locate each file by it's default name. If you have renamed any files, this step will fail. Please make sure you have not renamed any system files and that you have them uploaded to the proper directories as you indicated in the General Settings form.
If all system files are found, installation will also try to save some default system values to your configuration file (config.php).
Test Results:
Installation will return a list and give you the result of the test.
Success: If all test report back as "Found", then this step has completed successfully.
Failure: If any test reports back as "Not Found", then this step has completed with an error. You must view the list and determine which group of files had missing files. You should look at the "location" given and try uploading all your files that correspond to that directory again.
